my name is scott rothman.

i'm a director of technology/tech director/principal engineer/engineering manager/what-have-you based in baltimore. i used to live in new york city and tokyo and san francisco.

for the past 10+ years i've been working on all sides of various web stacks. now i mostly focus on the front end, ux, and accessibility with some back end tendencies. i specialize in html, css, and vanillajs solutions, though i also "like" to work with angular, lit and vue.js. there are interesting concepts and upsides to each approach.
